too much CO2

We produce more CO2 than the environment can bear Treibhauseffekt verschiedener Konsumgüter

Human activities, such as fossil fuel burning, deforestation and agriculture change our climate. Even in Switzerland, temperature increases, glacier melting and vegetation changes can already be observed .

To prevent climate change being too devastating for humankind and the environment, we must drastically reduce our greenhouse gas emissions

The food supply is responsible for about one third of the consumer related greenhouse gases emitted in Europe. It plays a bigger part in global warming than housing. Despite this fact, the food supply has hardly been mentioned in any climate debates so far. It is however, very easy to change over to climate-friendlier food, which is not only tasty but also healthy.

Changing our diets is probably the most efficient way to restrict global warming. In doing so, the financial costs and negative effects of global warming could be reduced by 50 percent.

How do I recognise climatic bad guys?
